Intro
The Lilleshall Juniors Handbook
We hope you like this new addition to our website – an online version of our juniors handbook. We have produced this for the following reasons:
- It makes the handbook more accessible for both junior players and parents alike, rather than being put in a drawer and forgotten about.
- It will help us reduce costs by reducing the number of handbooks that we need to print each season.
- It makes it far easier to amend and add new content.
- It shows a commitment to the environment by reducing our dependency on paper based resources.
- It allows us to use animated content and video coaching drills.
The online version is organised into main headings, you navigate to each one using the top or left hand menu.
Every sport has its own language and cricket is no different – our Crictionary section provides an explanation of some of the more common terms you will hear. This handbook draws on original content from the coaching staff at Lilleshall as well as a number of on-line references; including the BBC Cricket Academy website.
